The Queenstown Trails Trust were stoked to receive a $2,000 donation this month from the very fit, healthy and generous team at Queenstown PAK'n'SAV. The funds were raised during a March team challenge to walk, bike or actively travel the length of NZ or the Te Araroa Trail (approx. 3,000kms). The team succeeded in covering over 4,000kms raising $909. The deal was PAK'n'SAVE would match the fundraised amount.
The Queenstown Trails Trust were more than happy to receive this very generous donation and in return PAK'N'SAVE will receive the honor of becoming a Queenstown Trail Gold Star Funder, with funds will go towards our 2019 annual fundraising appeal.
The Queenstown Trails Trust has ambitious plans in 2019 to raise $70,000 from our community of trail users and business, with donations being allocated to the Queenstown Trail re-alignment plans, the first stage of our plan - Arrowtown to Arthurs Point will hopefully start work at the end of this year.
